We have arrived at the final day of our 40-day journey to making America God’s again. We aimed from the beginning to spark our own personal revival. Now we must make a plan going forward to keep our momentum going.
What encouragement or challenge do you need to keep pressing in to knowing God’s will every day of your life? Have you knowingly encountered God? If so, there is no turning back. Once you have heard His voice, it’s impossible to be the same person who could ignore the Almighty.
In our daily Bible studies, we’ve met heroes of the faith, mighty warriors, and persecuted believers. We have also seen that God expects to be our one and only God; He has jealousy, anger, and wrath for rebellion against His heart; and has amply warned us of the consequences of choosing a wrong path.
Which Bible study character or story did you relate to the most? Which one makes you want to choose differently? Do you see yourself like David as he went up against the Philistine giant? Are you like Gideon, Joshua, Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, or Elijah? Have you learned how not to disappoint God like those offering strange fire?
Do you know your identity and purpose on this planet, in His Kingdom, at this time on the calendar? Who are you? Whose are you? What is your “job”? What is your eternal destiny? What will you do to change the world … one faith-step at a time?
