A Cheerful Giver?

I made the mistake of asking … So, I asked God what He wanted as a Christmas gift from me to Him. I expected Him to say that my love and admiration were all the gift He needed. But, instead God said that He wants me to create my first video in this new season describing who He is. Oh I wanted the first one to be an easy introduction, and maybe even kinda cute, about why knowing true doctrine is important. After much conversation with Him, the first one is going to be very deep theology made simple. I…

Seasonal Finish Line

For some, this time of year is met with too many obligations, too much financial stress, and an unwelcome busyness. For others, it’s a time of feeling abandoned, left out, and alone. It’s sad that what should be a joyous time can often be overshadowed by grief and discontent fueled by frustration of not measuring up to expectations. I don’t have the answers and maybe I’m just writing this post to hear my own analysis, so please bear with me. It’s 3:00 am and I’m worried that I’m not doing enough to help others. I know a widow who lost…

Confined or Sovereign?

God did not design me to be a good little pew sitter. He trained me to be a mighty warrior against the devil’s attempts at perverting doctrines in the churches. My voice of truth is God’s brand of battle gear against the liar’s schemes. There is a misconception that Biblical unity means a consensus of opinions. Unity of the Spirit means that all members are walking with the Spirit and hearing His voice of truth. If some are outside the Spirit’s intentional leadership, then they will divide the intended unity. That’s why there are so many denominations of the Protestant…

A Remembered Scripture?

It’s been several months ago since I had a specific dream about wearing pearls. In the dream I was lounging on a couch, laughing about fun mischief going on in the room. In the dream, I could see myself enjoying the comical relief. But I also could clearly focus in on myself wearing a pearl necklace and pearl earrings. When I awoke from that dream, the Lord made it a point of sending me to buy a pearl necklace. The pearl necklace was symbolic and there was no point to spending a lot of money to purchase it. I went…

Upcoming Apologetics Video Podcast

Well, I have a few more pieces of the puzzle for the upcoming video podcasts planned for 2026. The series will be “Voice of Truth”, Christian Apologetics (more specifically Protestant Christian doctrinal study). Technically Catholicism and Mormonism are under the Christian category but are very different from Protestant Christianity. The Catholics have a different (expanded books) Bible and they pray to Mary and saints among other things. The Mormons have “The Book of Mormon” and many varied differences from Protestant Christianity. Listen, Protestant Christianity is a mess too with plenty of doctrines to discuss. Here are some of the denominations…

Contently Remaining Vigilant

God seems to waver between wanting me to be highly confident and wanting me to be extremely meek. Those levels of humility may have little to do with my obedience and more to do with individual assignments. Mighty warrior me has to be reduced down to her meekest levels when there is a direction shift in the battle plan. God can accomplish that by putting me in situations that have factors beyond my usual control and most abruptly in the form of digestive issues causing sudden anxiety. Yes, I have food allergies and intolerances that appear to be divinely appointed.…

Reluctant Perseverance?

Yesterday was a peaceful and awesome day embraced in the company of my God and my children. Interspersed between breakfast at my son’s and Thanksgiving dinner at my daughter’s, we watched the national dog show, worked on a quilt project, and talked about our blessings. After dinner, we went on a walk and enjoyed the cooler night air. This morning, I needed to exchange the (quilting) rotary cutter blades (that I purchased last week) for a larger size which took me to one of my favorite places … Hobby Lobby. When I was at the counter making the exchange, I…

Challenge Accepted!

As God’s prophet, I have a much higher responsibility to bring words from Him that are not filtered or modified than any other Kingdom position. That’s the exact truth and you can surely ask God about it. When I first started hearing God’s voice more than two decades ago, I had a people-pleaser mentality that God had to deal with very early on. As His prophet, I always must put pleasing God above pleasing others. To make it easier on me to do this, God threatened the lives of my children if I did not take my responsibility seriously. That…

Not So Predictable Accountability

It’s possible that I’m enjoying vacation-life a little too much. God seems to be justifiably concerned that I might decide being lazy could work indefinitely. Recently, I have slept in until 8:00 am on more than one occasion. I didn’t know that was allowed, but now I’m negotiating for it to be a new routine. Maybe I better just settle for it being a temporary reprieve from the more rigorous schedule of ministry. This morning, God and I were dining at a local coffee shop together. He told me to bring in my notebook. At times, the notebook is for…

Be Fruitful & Increase

Today I want to provide debate over an often misinterpreted passage of Scripture. The Trinitarians want this vague verse to be translated to the idea of three gods or multiple gods. The problem with their misinterpretation is that it greatly contradicts the full context of the Bible. So here’s the passage. I will point out the one verse and why it cannot refer to multiple gods. (Genesis 1:25-28 NIV)”25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw…

Cheap Identity Ambience

As children of God, we have a true identity in Him. He chooses our purpose, path, and priorities. We can rebel against His plans for us or trust in His sovereignty. For example, God has told me that I am His Apostle and Prophet. I could buy into the deceit of the enemy delivered through his minions that say I’m not qualified and chosen by God. Or I could humbly walk under God’s authority and divine calling. He can deal with those who speak against His choices. This morning while I was doing my morning exercises I had a YouTube…

Unshaken Melody of Truth

This year started with an assignment from God to assess the local churches and their stance on doctrines. What a mess! After many months of desperately trying to communicate to the local churches the importance of seeking God, the assignment was narrowed down to just five pastors. God’s assignment to me was to voice my concerns about their false theologies and to urge them to seek God intentionally. While I truly believe my best effort was given to the task, the pastors failed to seek God and continued teaching falsely. One of the five pastors, was uniquely repositioned by God…

If you’re not hearing God’s voice in prayer, you are NOT in a relationship with God. Beware of “Trinity” Pastors

Please, I beg you to seek God about this message. The devil has been successful at embedding the word “trinity” into the Christian culture. There is no authority in the Scriptures to use the word trinity. The word does NOT appear in the Bible. If a pastor uses that word it can only be because he/she does not know God. God hates the word “trinity” and would never give His authority to promote that word or the false theology surrounding it. The Scriptures are clear that there is only one God. God is His title. Jesus is His name. God…

Is Jesus the Head of Your Household?

Mainstream religion has so distorted the intent of God’s heart by misinterpreting certain Scripture passages. I maintain, very confidently, that God is the head of the household of families that submit to Him, and that husbands and wives should be partners in marriage. Heir To The Throne (Day 5 of 5)

After posting yesterday’s commentary and study, something became vividly clear to me that I hope to express here. It’s not unusual for me to learn the most while teaching because I consider the study material differently when I bring it forward for others. I examine it more closely but also in the big picture context. During the thousands of years that God oversaw the building of the Jewish nation before making Himself known in flesh, the people always seemed to be drawn to idol worship. They proved themselves as idol worshippers when they created a golden calf to bow down…

Heir To The Throne (Day 4 of 5)

Over the last few days, the daily posts have been leading up to a very obvious conclusion. But it is today’s post that I hope will finally provide insight about the “seated at the right hand of God” language used about the Son of Man. Is there a second God seated next to the Father or was figurative language used to represent the fulfillment of the Davidic kingdom? Was God, through coming in flesh, ending the need for the Old Testament way of doing things? Was He changing up the protocols for covenant restoration? Clearly, the Old Testament ways did…

On Day 2, we reviewed the history of the descendants of King David as they ruled over Judah (the southern tribes of Israel) and the eventual end of Israel’s kings. We were reminded that the temple containing the ark of the covenant was destroyed when Judah was taken into captivity by the pagan king of Babylon. Today, we will briefly study the…

Did God fulfill his promise to King David that his throne would be established forever? The original promise was surrounded by discussion of building an earthly temple for God. King David wanted to build the temple, but God chose that David’s son, Solomon, would instead build the temple. It was then that God promised King David a forever throne. We can look back and see that what God was promising David was that God would build His own earthly temple through the offspring of David. A temple made of flesh and blood instead of brick and mortar; A temporary temple…

Obviously, they wouldn’t knowingly want that for their loved ones. But for too long, Halloween,…

“But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.” (Ezekiel 33:6 NIV) This Scripture doesn’t afford the watchman much room to refuse to warn the idiots that habitually won’t listen. If the people would actually listen to the words from the prophets AND ask God about it themselves, then God would not need to warn through storms, floods, fires, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes and…

Their Three Gods Aren’t Saying Much

This morning, I was reading from the book of the prophet Isaiah. As I regularly read through the messages from the various prophets, I have to wonder if the local pastors ever actually read the words from the prophets. Are they ignorant to the warnings from God? There are over 100 churches in this city. The Lord says that not one of them teaches correctly about who God is. How can not even one pastor know the truth about God? Some of them say that they hear God but then preach that there are three Gods (a trinity of Gods).…

Rushed Intimacy?

This morning, I was reading in the Psalms and my spiritual vision focused on a few key phrases. “The LORD does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths. He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth; he sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses. He struck down the firstborn of Egypt, the firstborn of people and animals. He sent his signs and wonders into your midst, Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants. He struck down many nations and killed mighty kings—”…

Go-Bag?

Hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, fires, plagues and wars can leave us in helpless situations. How do we prepare for the unexpected? We can’t entirely trust the news, weather forecasts, or vaccines to get us where we need to be. God is the only one who has sovereign knowledge of what’s happening, when and where. No weather radio is going to give us the guidance that God can. There have been times in my life, when God had me prepare in unusual ways for unexpected events. Mostly it was hindsight that illuminated how His direction provided security or escape. One scenario comes…

Rescued

I wept while God listened to my grief and devastation over the loss of lives in the Texas floods. My own children attended Christian camps in their youth. My heart breaks for the parents and loved ones whose lives have been forever changed by the sudden rising waters of the river. So please hear me, I am not saying this next part to hurt anyone. This is what God wanted me to write about. If there had been enough warning, could everyone have made it out safely? Would everyone choose to leave if they heard God say to move to…

What Is Your Reputation With God?

“To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.” (Revelation 3:1 NIV) Notice those words “you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead”? How haunting that must have been to have heard that God saw that church’s reputation as the opposite of what mankind saw it. It was a dead church to God! The next verse says “Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about…

Faithfulness OR Deliverance

Three years ago, I completed the magazine edition “Discipleship & Deliverance” (cover photo attached). At the time, God was waking me up in the early morning hours every day to focus on the work. While I love to be completely immersed in God’s efforts to help this generation, He was pushing me very hard to get it exactly right and on a quick timeline. My thought at the time was that there was someone who needed a “NOW” word from God on the subject. Only 10 copies were printed, though, and I never received any feedback from those who received…

Bogus Thoughts?

“’For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the LORD.” (Isaiah 55:8 NIV) Throughout the more than 20 years of hearing God’s voice in prayer, the Lord has told me many things that I would rather have not heard. I guess that I could have pretended that I didn’t hear Him, but that would have likely resulted in actually not hearing His voice going forward. One specific thing that I have heard the Lord tell me was to distance myself from a family member who is always surrounded in drama and betrayal. The term…

Perfunctory Prayer

Which do you think that God prefers: a prayer that privately seeks Him or a prayer posture that others see? Many years ago, I was out to lunch with a friend. Unbeknownst to her, I had spent the morning asking God questions to include what to wear, how to pay for the meal, what to order for the meal, etc. Even as we sat at the table awaiting for the food to be delivered, I was constantly silently talking with God about what His will was. I awaken every morning talking with God and go to sleep each night having…

Let’s Talk About Mary

Who do you say that Mary was/is? Was she the mother of God? Should you pray to her spirit in heaven? What Scriptures could you twist to make it permissible to worship her? This is where the discussion will turn to the trinity doctrine. (You knew it was coming.) The trinity doctrine espouses that there are three Gods, one of whom was born of the virgin Mary. That doctrine can then be expanded to make it permissible to pray to Mary since she gave birth (or came before) one of their three Gods. The devil surely loves that. So in…

Half-Hearted CINOs?

What I see in American churches too often is half-hearted “Christians-in-name-only” (CINO) who don’t want to be wholehearted in their pursuit of God’s will. They don’t want to learn to hear God’s voice or understand true doctrine because that will upset their comfort. They seem to want to persecute those who stand up with a voice of truth that points them to listen to God for themselves. In the 40 years prior to me hearing God’s voice in prayer, I did the country-club Christianity thing myself. So I recognize it when I see it being paraded through the churches. I…

Does God Still Send Prophets?

“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues ? Do all interpret? Now eagerly desire the greater gifts. And yet I will show you the most excellent way.” (1 Corinthians 12:27-31 NIV) The subject of unity has…

Unmistakable Wrath?

The attached pages from the “Mark of Excellence Newsletter” dated October 2021, are being shared as the final newsletter from that year. With the previous newsletters, I have also shared the cover letter that was sent to the pastors at that time. However, the October newsletter on God’s Wrath was shared online only, rather than direct mailed, without a cover letter. Does God have a right to have wrath? Isn’t He supposed to just arbitrarily forgive everyone (according to the false teachers)? Please review the pages of the newsletter and decide for yourself.

A Listening Prayer?

This reposting of the September 2021, Mark of Excellence newsletter on “Prayer” was already scheduled in the series before the recent prayer meeting incident where I was yelled at by the pastor for bringing a word from the Lord. (Hey, it’s the life of a prophet. I have my big-boy pants on and can handle it. But God … can certainly do as He pleases if He doesn’t like the way I was treated.) This letter is exactly what I would write today despite that I wrote it nearly four years ago to other local pastors (not the one that…

The Contrast of Heaven vs. Hell

In 2021, God had me create a monthly doctrinal newsletter, “Mark of Excellence”, along with a cover letter to the local pastors. The letters were sent to 24 pastors. Since that time there have been some positive changes to those pastors’ doctrinal stances. Also, at least four of those pastors have distanced themselves from the pulpits that they were previously preaching from. I’m not saying that I had anything to do with any of that, but I am saying that God is consistently poised to do whatever is necessary to get the churches on the right path. Today, all of…

Unity of Unbelief?

Going into the prayer meeting, I had very specific instructions from God. In fact, we had a lengthy conversation earlier in the day about what my interactions would be. I was not to lay hands on anyone for healing. I also was not to pray aloud for anyone. God was intense that I was only to speak exactly the words that He would give to me. When I arrived at the prayer service, I did not have any idea what the words would be that I was to deliver. But as soon as I sat down in the “sanctuary” and…

The Final Amen?

The initial email invite read “Every Wednesday moving forward, we will meet to humble ourselves before the Lord, to listen for His voice, and to ask for His direction as we step forward in the ministry He has called us to in this community.” The first prayer meeting seemed to line up with that sentiment. But going forward, it quickly became less and less about listening for God’s direction and more about telling God of the needs of the church. As if He didn’t know. But even so, you would think that the prayer group would welcome the attendance of…

A Heaven-Heard Vent!

Ha, it seems that I got to vent a little in this letter to the pastors from June 2021. I’m pretty sure that this was the year when a local pastor taught a Father’s Day sermon saying that women weren’t expected to pray directly to God, but their husbands were. Yes, that’s paraphrased but not by much. In fact, the pastor’s sentiment on the subject made me want to barf. I think you’ll hear it in my hard words (that the Lord let me use!). At times God has me put my own heart out there in the written draft…

Is Jesus the God of the Covenant?

The myriad of wrong doctrinal statements that I hear from pulpits regularly is discouraging. The most offensive is “Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God”. If there are two Gods sitting on thrones in your religion, then you are not part of the Christian religion. Christianity is monotheistic, meaning one God. Jesus is the one and only God. God is Spirit. When the Spirit of God robed Himself in Son of Man flesh, He did not become a second God. Trinitarians believe that the Son is not the Father, therefore, they have two Gods sitting next to each…

The Broken Covenant & Deliverance

The covenant relationship demands wholehearted allegiance. If we go outside of that priority obedience, then we break covenant. All sin is covenant-breaking and can be traced back to not obeying God. That is why the covenant restoration conversation is so important. We must restore a broken covenant or we will not have God’s protection or provision. In fact, we can grieve God with our sin to the point that He allows the devil to target us and torment us. God is a jealous God! If you’re not serving Him as your one and only God, then you’re serving another “god”…

The Missing Piece — The Covenant Oath

One day, about eight years ago, God awakened me in the early morning hours and told me to sit in front of my computer. He was going to give me the most important page of information to share. Mind you, I was already more than a decade into my walk with hearing God. How could there be something new that warranted such “urgent” focus? Little did I know that it was the missing piece in every aspect of ministry. If I could describe the covenant oath adequately, it affected when/if a person would hear God. It gave understanding to God’s…

Hearing God’s voice is imperative to being obedient. Taking a best-guess or interpreting Scripture at your choosing will likely cause you to walk completely outside of God’s will and path. God judges heart motives. He is aware of all methods used to avoid consulting Him. So just because you have a Bible open, it doesn’t replace your need to submit to God’s authority. You can’t fool God. Attached are the March (2021) “Mark of Excellence Newsletter” and associated letter to the local pastors. The topic is “Hearing God”. Do False Teachers Deserve Wrath?

What Does It Take To Be A Hero?

In the secular world, a hero can be someone with a gifted singing voice, on-screen influence, a hot body, or perceived power. Think about who the cultural idols are today. Yes, we recognize the men and women of the military, law enforcement, firefighters, and emergency workers as invested individuals who are willing to risk themselves to rescue others. But where each person stands in their relationship with God is the true measure of their hero status. “Yet they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. Walk With Confidence!

The Lord focused my spiritual vision on a specific trait today. As I was walking into the mini-mart to get an early morning cup of coffee, I noticed a man getting out of his vehicle. Have nothing to do with such people.” (2 Timothy 3:2-5 NIV) That part about “having a form of godliness” is the part that God highlighted to me when we were talking just now. (Yes, it’s 4:00 am. Native Language Tongues

If you have ever had the Lord speak through you in the gift of tongues, this will not be a foreign concept for you.
