Celebrated or Ignored?

If you are not listening to God’s voice in prayer, God is not obligated to listen to your voice in prayer. I don’t know where people have got this notion that God is obligated to do anything.

God can be a loving God but that doesn’t mean that He is a doormat. If you’re ignoring Him, He’s more than likely ignoring you. If you’re not hearing God’s voice in prayer, you are NOT in a relationship with God. I don’t care how many allegiance prayers you have said, how many times you were baptized in water, how many times you gave money in an offering plate, or how many times you attended a church service. None of that means anything if you are ignoring God’s voice in prayer. If you are NOT in a relationship with God, you are promised an eternity in Hell (separated from God).

I am so disheartened by the churches today. They simply do not teach the importance of hearing God. They instead teach a lot of bogus theology and wonder why God allows all manner of sickness and death among congregations.

Listen, if you aren’t praising God for the many gifts that He has given you in your lifetime, God has no problem taking those gifts from you. You were ungrateful and prideful and didn’t deserve to enjoy those gifts. Those gifts can be health, loved ones, financial resources, talents, physical attractiveness, and material gifts. If you’re not celebrating God, He is not celebrating you.

If the only time the name of God comes out of your mouth is to use it as a swear word, God has already promised to not hold you guiltless. The ten commandments (which most everyone has heard of) holds a promise to come against generations of your family line if you don’t love God. You can be angry with God for taking your loved one, but God has no obligation to protect you or your family when you ignore Him. I’m sorry but that’s just the way it is.
