It’s only recently that God has revealed to me how completely ineffective the church is on matters of justice. The churches often paint God out to be incapable or unable to demonstrate anger or wrath. Obviously, that is contrary to the Biblical characterization of God. But it’s not only God’s justice that the churches are missing the mark on. They also refuse to target injustices going on in our world today.
Where is the church when Christian patriots are falsely accused and jailed, like on January 6, 2021? Why isn’t the church (corporately) making their voices heard? Why are they funding shoe boxes full of dollar store toys for kids when God’s money should be going to save people willing to stand up and make a difference against a fraudulent election? This nation, a nation whose motto is “In God We Trust“, is a Christian nation. Why is the church so watered down that it can’t take a true stand against injustice? Listen, if it is because they’re 501c3, that’s not acceptable!
Isaiah 58:6 NIV “Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?”
Words delivered from God’s prophet, Tammie Edwards, on 1/21/2024. It’s between you and God what you do with this. Each numbered item was a separate post in sequence, delivered real-time on Truth Social.
1) If revival is going to happen, we must be risk-taking truth-tellers. We cannot accept the herd mentality that is so prominent in churches today. We cannot sit back and accept false teaching for the sake of maintaining a fake unity. God expects us to stand against the devil’s schemes, not to accept them in a feigned peace-keeping bravado. Have courage to speak God’s truth even if it hurts. That’s revival!
2) Hear God, speak truth, fight for justice, war against evil, expose lies, walk in the Spirit, don’t blend in. The devil wants to weaponize your compassion into accepting less. Isn’t that why revival doesn’t happen? Status quo isn’t cutting it! Stand in the destiny calling that God ordained for you. RISE UP!
3) Who wants the falsely accused and wrongly imprisoned January 6 hostages to be freed? I do! Will you and I use our voices to defend America and her patriots? Or will we sit back, blend in, and let someone else speak up? Have we been trained to shut up and accept less?
4) If you want to send shoe boxes full of dollar store toys over to other countries more than you want to free the January 6 hostages held by our own fake-elected government, then you’re not a justice and truth warrior. You’re a country club Christian. Wear that label. It suits you well!
5) Three years! They’ve been sitting in a jail cell waiting for patriot Christians to rescue them. The fake government threatens to arrest thousands more people who traveled to protest a fraudulent election. Meanwhile evil protesters can vilify Israel for defending herself on the same streets. They’re mocking you and threatening you to not rise up for freedom and integrity. Oh church how have you sat back and celebrated your own defeat?
6) Oh church, you’re pathetic. You choose to ignore injustice while you fast and pray for selfish wants. You don’t deserve to live in a nation where freedom reigns. You want captivity as long as it affords you comfort. You know that you have picked out your favorite seat in the aisle where you can smile affectionately at the pastor as though there is no injustice or evil. Yep, sit down and shut up. It suits you, ignorant fool!
7) They’re raping this nation, destroying her beauty and majesty, while the church sits idly by refusing to seek God. I want to vomit when I see your religious games and foolishness. You want to fast, then do it. You fat, lazy, ineffective captives. Take a selfie!
Isaiah 58:1-10 NIV: “Shout it aloud, do not hold back. Raise your voice like a trumpet. Declare to my people their rebellion and to the descendants of Jacob their sins. 2 For day after day they seek me out; they seem eager to know my ways, as if they were a nation that does what is right and has not forsaken the commands of its God. They ask me for just decisions and seem eager for God to come near them. 3 ‘Why have we fasted,’ they say, ‘and you have not seen it? Why have we humbled ourselves, and you have not noticed?’ “Yet on the day of your fasting, you do as you please and exploit all your workers. 4 Your fasting ends in quarreling and strife, and in striking each other with wicked fists. You cannot fast as you do today and expect your voice to be heard on high. 5 Is this the kind of fast I have chosen, only a day for people to humble themselves? Is it only for bowing one’s head like a reed and for lying in sackcloth and ashes? Is that what you call a fast, a day acceptable to the LORD? 6 “Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? 7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? 8 Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard. 9 Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I. “If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, 10 and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.”
There are two main groups that don’t want you to learn to hear God’s voice in prayer: 1) the government in concert with its propaganda media, and; 2) the fake church that weaponizes your ignorance against you. If you can’t hear God give you direction then they must interpret for you. The end result is captivity.
It’s idolatry to put anyone between you and God. Learn to hear His voice and follow Him.
“Slaves obey your masters” may seem like a strange title to lead into a discussion of marriage. The writer of the letter to the church in Ephesus wrote that command just one chapter over from “wives submit to your husbands”.
In the Christian religion, marriage is a partnership where both Christian wives and Christian husbands submit to God’s authority in a covenant relationship. Christians choose God as the head of their household.
“Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.” (Ephesians 5:21 NIV)
Paul, in his letter to the Ephesians, often used cultural norms to express spiritual truths. For example, it was normal during that time for there to be slaves and masters. Most women were intentionally kept illiterate. Because they could not read or write, women were forced into submissiveness. Christians don’t use the “slaves and masters” verse to condone slavery.
The Christian religion is very different from pagan religions, like Islam, where males dominate females requiring themselves as lord over them. Christian women submit to Christ as Lord. The Ephesians, chapter five passage is summarized by the following verse depicting the Bride of Christ (the church) submitting herself to the Lord’s sovereignty.
“This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.” (Ephesians 5:22-33 NIV)
It’s a common mistake of immature Christians to take a verse out of context and build a false theology around it. Unfortunately, that ignorance can lead to spiritual captivity and refusing God as Lord.
The first thing we do as we become a Christian is to create a covenant with God to obey Him. Obeying God means hearing His voice in prayer and following Him. Married ladies do not have a valid excuse for ignoring God or being lazy in service to Him just because they are legally tied to a man. The covenant with God is individual, not corporate.
Paul further gives this advice (earlier in the same chapter). “Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.” (Ephesians 5:6 NIV)
Another important verse to remember. “For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people.” (1 Timothy 2:5 NIV)
Ladies, submissiveness can become a form of idolatry when we place any relationship above our relationship with God.
I’m writing this post to put my own opinions out there regarding the book of Enoch (which is intentionally NOT in the Christian Bible) and one verse that is in the Bible that some people want to use to build a theology about alien beings. That verse is found in Genesis, chapter 6, verse 4. “The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.”
First, let me say this. Anyone with a one-verse theology needs to take their verse and seek God with it. The purpose of the Bible is for us to understand relationship with God. Genesis 6:4 is in context with God wiping mankind from the face of the earth. So reading this verse in context, you must consider verses 7 and 8, which read: “So the LORD said, ‘I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.’ But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.”
“The Nephilim were on the earth in those days” may just be a statement declaring that those people were the cause for God’s wrath to remove people from the earth. It doesn’t mean that they came from another planet. The term “sons of God” throughout the Old Testament refers to the men of Israel or men of faith. “Nephilim” could just be a label to describe the men of Israel (or in this case the sons of Seth) who refused to exclusively marry women of Israel (women of faith or Daughters of Zion). It cannot be angelic beings or fallen angels because spirits do not have reproductive seed. There is no reasonable assumption that God would have chosen to give us only one verse of Scripture to identify that He made alien beings to live on other planets. We have absolutely zero scientific evidence to prove that there are alien beings even with mankind’s space travels. If you substituted the word “Nephilim” with the word “Democrats” and read the sentence again, you might have a closer truth than substituting the word aliens. You could insert the words “pedophile” or “human trafficker” and get another thought process. Wouldn’t we all want those people wiped off the face of the earth?
Listen! Please hear me. If you are spending time foolishly being led astray by the devil’s cunnings schemes, you are missing the heart of the Biblical message. God’s heart is for you to know Him, listen to His voice and obey Him. It’s simple if you want it to be.
I’m including a Gotquestions.org article and video link here so that you will understand that the book of Enoch is not from God. The book of Mormon is not from God. The book of Islam is not from God. Again, the book of Enoch is not from God. https://www.gotquestions.org/book-of-Enoch.html
You may have wondered why there were few posts over the previous several months. It may seem that I have been slacking, but that is not the case. The Lord has directed me to start a publishing company for all the publications that I have created and will produce in the days ahead. While I’m still creating teaching pages, I need to have the required copyright licensing in order to provide printed magazines, workbooks, and study guides.
While I have not made much progress on the business side of things, I am steadily working on new materials. The business requires startup money that I just don’t have at the moment. It’s been difficult for me to not provide new pages quickly because I often feel an urgency to get the word out. So please bear with me as I continue to listen to the Lord’s direction. I’m hoping that the final result will be a Kingdom product that will disciple this generation and the next.
As always, you can contact me at my email on this website at TammieEdwards@therogueprophet.com. If you have questions, constructive feedback or suggestions, I would like to hear from you.
This page is from one of my “Mark of Excellence” newsletters from several years ago. I’m incorporating it into the newest teaching tool. What do you think?
I have listened to many altar call pledges over the years. Most of them sound more like a belief statement than an oath to obey God. This worksheet will hopefully help new believers understand the commitment that they are making to God. I provided space for each person to write out their own personal vow to God. What do you think?
If you feel like God has given you vague or incomplete instructions, sit with Him, ask as many questions as you need to in order to understand exactly what He wants in a next step of faith. At times God is intentionally vague to get you to question details and perhaps even your own willingness to obey. He doesn’t have a problem with you analyzing and discussing it with Him. It’s possible that God draws out the conversation just so He can enjoy the fellowship and create intimacy. Conversation with God is how we get to know Him. He invented humor so He knows how to use it to make you laugh. You can relax and enjoy your time talking with Him. You will know when He wants concentrated listening. Be sure to be respectful as you would want to be respected. Don’t forget politeness. Use “please” and “thank you” when talking with God. He will honor that in your life.
God does want you to understand and walk faithfully in the direction of obedience. Remember that Abraham walked faithfully in the direction of obedience when he was told to sacrifice his son. Abraham fully expected that God would provide an alternative but he walked a faith walk until that happened.
Your conversations with God are NOT intended to be a constant list of “give-me”. How would you feel if the only time you heard from your child was with their hand out wanting something? Perhaps that is how prayer is demonstrated in the church – but it is not the prayer life that pleases God. He wants conversation and to lead you on the path that He has chosen for you. He wants to be known by you.
And yes, He will flex His muscles when He needs to. So be aware of how you are treating Him. Are you ignoring Him or including Him? He is jealous for your attention especially when ignoring Him can get you off the destiny path. Sometimes one wrong turn can create a complicated redirection that could have been avoided if you had consulted Him. Remember that Jonah found himself in the belly of a whale when he tried to deviate from the path that he was meant to follow.
Listen, God may need to work some things out of you like greed, arrogance, and selfishness. He may do that in uncomfortable ways but know that it is to improve your character for the Kingdom. He may need to work some things into you too. We all may need more humility, courage, fearlessness, boldness, kindness, gentleness, and the list goes on. Take the time to ask God about your strengths and weaknesses from His perspective. You might even ask about faith steps to improve in areas specifically needed for your earthly journey.
In summary, don’t assume anything except a stance to obey God wholeheartedly. Guess who obeyed God by writing this?
