Identity Proud!

I proudly identify as an American. I’m not ashamed of my country’s heritage. This nation was formed for God’s purpose of freedom from religious persecution. The pilgrims were a small group of Christians who settled on largely uninhabited land. Rewritten history is being sold to our children and causing them to be ashamed of their homeland.

There are over 2 billion acres of land in the United States of America and over 6 billion acres on the North American continent. When the pilgrims first settled here there were about 60,000 indigenous people. There were only about 100 pilgrims in the first settlers. I can do the math, if you can’t. So please stop believing that our Christian ancestors came over here and stole from the Indians. There is absolutely no reason that on 2 billion acres of land that they could not have peacefully coexisted. There are bad apples in every tribe and people group. The devil and spiritual forces of evil are real. Spiritual war is real. We cannot discount that many of the settlers and indigenous people were friendly and worked together to form a more perfect nation.

God chose for me to be an American. I choose to honor Him by having pride in His choice. He chose for me to be born a female. I honor His choice. He chose for me to be “white”. I honor His choice. He chose for me to be this age. I honor His choice. He chose who my parents and siblings would be. I honor His choice. He chose the number of children that would be born to me. I honor His choice.

God chose for Christian pilgrims to arrive in America. Will you honor His choice? God chose for this nation to be a place free from religious persecution. Will you honor His choice? God chose to accept leadership in forming the Constitution of the United States of America. Will you honor His choice?

I’m not god, nor are you … honor God’s choices! In God We Trust!

Carbon Tyranny

Previously, I posted the draft pages of this edition of the Mark of Excellence Newsletter. It has been reorganized and updated slightly. The February newsletter was “Chains of Injustice”. The April newsletter will be “Gender XYZ”. We’re taking a hard look at some of the topics plaguing our country and the church where propaganda ideologies are pushing against common sense and Christian values.

Useless Pew Sitters

God cares about justice. Yet, the churches refuse to use their voices to speak against a tyrannical government. It’s useless to send missionaries around the globe when we don’t protect our own nation’s borders and sovereignty. Wake up church and defend the hostages who courageously protested against the corrupt election. They are heroes. Not criminals.

The criminals are crossing our borders illegally bringing destruction to our homeland. The churches ignore God’s justice and uselessly sit back and call themselves God’s vessels. I’m calling that BS!

1 Kings 3: 11-12 NIV
“So God said to him, ‘Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice, I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be.'”

Psalm 11:7 NIV
“For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face.”

Psalm 50:6 NIV
“And the heavens proclaim his righteousness, for he is a God of justice.”

Psalm 89:14 NIV
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you.”

Psalm 103:6 NIV
“The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.”

Proverbs 18:5 NIV
“It is not good to be partial to the wicked and so deprive the innocent of justice.”

Isaiah 42:1 NIV
“Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations.”

Isaiah 56:1 NIV
“This is what the LORD says: ‘Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed,'”

Isaiah 59:4 NIV
No one calls for justice; no one pleads a case with integrity. They rely on empty arguments, they utter lies; they conceive trouble and give birth to evil.”

Read about true fasting in Isaiah 58 and how justice is God’s desire.

Are You Spiritually Deaf, or is God Mute?

It amazes me the number of Christians that I’ve talked to who don’t expect God to communicate with comprehendible words. They expect Him to communicate either through texts in the Bible, signs, promptings, or through another person. What is that all about? God knew how to speak words that were understood by the patriarchs and prophets. When did He forget how to speak to us?

A Christian should hear God speak to them in prayer every time that they pray. We should hear His voice each day, not once a week, month or year, but daily and throughout the day.

If you’re not hearing God routinely, something needs to be fixed in your relationship with Him. Are you seeking Him? Are you in covenant with Him as your one and only God? Does He trust your character and integrity?

I’m willing to teach you how to hear God’s voice in prayer, how to create a covenant relationship or restore a broken covenant oath. We must build God’s army if we are going to defeat the lies of the enemy. Please decide are you going to hear God or are you going to ignore Him. Of course, He already knows.

Justice Warriors or Wimps?

It’s only recently that God has revealed to me how completely ineffective the church is on matters of justice. The churches often paint God out to be incapable or unable to demonstrate anger or wrath. Obviously, that is contrary to the Biblical characterization of God. But it’s not only God’s justice that the churches are missing the mark on. They also refuse to target injustices going on in our world today.

Where is the church when Christian patriots are falsely accused and jailed, like on January 6, 2021? Why isn’t the church (corporately) making their voices heard? Why are they funding shoe boxes full of dollar store toys for kids when God’s money should be going to save people willing to stand up and make a difference against a fraudulent election? This nation, a nation whose motto is “In God We Trust“, is a Christian nation. Why is the church so watered down that it can’t take a true stand against injustice? Listen, if it is because they’re 501c3, that’s not acceptable!

Isaiah 58:6 NIV
“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?”

When God Is Vague

If you feel like God has given you vague or incomplete instructions, sit with Him, ask as many questions as you need to in order to understand exactly what He wants in a next step of faith. At times God is intentionally vague to get you to question details and perhaps even your own willingness to obey. He doesn’t have a problem with you analyzing and discussing it with Him. It’s possible that God draws out the conversation just so He can enjoy the fellowship and create intimacy. Conversation with God is how we get to know Him. He invented humor so He knows how to use it to make you laugh. You can relax and enjoy your time talking with Him. You will know when He wants concentrated listening. Be sure to be respectful as you would want to be respected. Don’t forget politeness. Use “please” and “thank you” when talking with God. He will honor that in your life.

God does want you to understand and walk faithfully in the direction of obedience. Remember that Abraham walked faithfully in the direction of obedience when he was told to sacrifice his son. Abraham fully expected that God would provide an alternative but he walked a faith walk until that happened.

Your conversations with God are NOT intended to be a constant list of “give-me”. How would you feel if the only time you heard from your child was with their hand out wanting something? Perhaps that is how prayer is demonstrated in the church – but it is not the prayer life that pleases God. He wants conversation and to lead you on the path that He has chosen for you. He wants to be known by you.

And yes, He will flex His muscles when He needs to. So be aware of how you are treating Him. Are you ignoring Him or including Him? He is jealous for your attention especially when ignoring Him can get you off the destiny path. Sometimes one wrong turn can create a complicated redirection that could have been avoided if you had consulted Him. Remember that Jonah found himself in the belly of a whale when he tried to deviate from the path that he was meant to follow.

Listen, God may need to work some things out of you like greed, arrogance, and selfishness. He may do that in uncomfortable ways but know that it is to improve your character for the Kingdom. He may need to work some things into you too. We all may need more humility, courage, fearlessness, boldness, kindness, gentleness, and the list goes on. Take the time to ask God about your strengths and weaknesses from His perspective. You might even ask about faith steps to improve in areas specifically needed for your earthly journey.

In summary, don’t assume anything except a stance to obey God wholeheartedly. Guess who obeyed God by writing this?

New Teaching Tool

This edition of The Rogue Prophet Magazine is a discipleship tool that churches could use in their new membership classes to explain the covenant relationship with God. Unfortunately most Christians, young and mature, don’t understand the covenant expectations. The covenant oath is a one-God contract with God. Yet many salvation pledges are a pledge of belief that Jesus is the Son of God. That just is not a Biblical oath of allegiance. Jesus is God. There is only one God. The oath of allegiance is to have only one God. But don’t believe me … ask God yourself. If you don’t hear God, it could be that you have not made a true oath instead of a statement of belief.
