Be Fruitful & Increase

Today I want to provide debate over an often misinterpreted passage of Scripture. The Trinitarians want this vague verse to be translated to the idea of three gods or multiple gods. The problem with their misinterpretation is that it greatly contradicts the full context of the Bible.

So here’s the passage. I will point out the one verse and why it cannot refer to multiple gods.

(Genesis 1:25-28 NIV)
“25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” 27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

The Trinitarians will promote a false theology of multiple gods from verse 26 and the words “Let us … in our image” despite that immediately following those words are verse 27 where there are no plural words used to describe God. If their theology were correct, the next verse would have used the words “they” and “their”. At the very least they are jumping to conclusions with no analytical reasoning to support their theology.

So what could the words “us and our” in verse 26 represent that doesn’t contradict the many Scriptures that record that there is only one God?

I’ve discussed this with God in prayer and will give you the insight that He gave me, but I ALWAYS want you to discuss this with God yourself.

Moses is attributed to writing the first five books of the Bible. Moses was NOT alive at creation. He was born thousands of years later. He wrote the creation story as he spent time hearing God’s voice in prayer. So to be clear, Moses did not real-time overhear God speaking to anyone in the Garden. God met Moses where he was in the day and time of his life. We tend to want to read those verses as if Moses was standing beside God during creation. He wasn’t. Moses’ role was to tell the story from God’s perspective.

The “us” and “our” words represented 1) the part that God plays in creating the spiritual body of each person AND 2) the part that the human parents play in the biological human reproduction process. God is giving credit to the human parents for being fruitful and increasing in number as they are commanded to in the next sentence, verse 28. God was also foreshadowing when He would spend 33 years wearing human flesh delivered through the human reproduction process.

It is very important to read verses in context and to understand the whole counsel of the Scriptures.

Please let me remind you of the many Scriptures that record that there is only one God.

(Isaiah 43:10-11 NIV)
10 “You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. 11 I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior.

ONE GOD: Day 4 of 5

Today, let’s start off with a few more of the “One God” Scriptures to remind us that there are NOT three Gods. Christianity is monotheistic meaning ONE GOD. (There is not a God sitting next to another God in Heaven.)

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” (Deuteronomy 6:4-5 NIV)

“This is what the LORD says— Israel’s King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God. Who then is like me? Let him proclaim it. Let him declare and lay out before me what has happened since I established my ancient people, and what is yet to come— yes, let them foretell what will come. Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one.” (Isaiah 44:6-8 NIV)

“’The most important one,’ answered Jesus, ‘is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’” (Mark 12:29-30 NIV)

To be clear: I am a Christian — I am NOT a Trinitarian. Trinitarians believe that there are three individual Gods that they separately worship. Their description seems to express that the three separate Gods form a one-God corporation. Evidently, their Son-God is sitting at the right hand of their Father-God each with separate, but equal, authority and lordship. They pray to their Father-God independent of their Son-God (they talk to their Father-God about their Son-God). And evidently, their Holy Spirit-God doesn’t need a throne in Heaven because He is independently too busy anointing people with Father-God’s power. (Yes, I’m mocking their false religion.)

Meanwhile, in Christianity there is only one sovereign Spirit of God who made Himself known for a limited time in human form as Son of Man. That temporary Son of Man position of God was for a specific purpose and ministry. The Christian God is one Spirit, with three distinct ROLES. The Son ROLE took place 2,000+ years ago. God is not in positioned in human form as Son of Man today.

Jesus (while wearing Son of Man flesh) often referred to Himself as ‘Son of Man’ and rarely as ‘Son of God’. Both ‘Son’ labels spoke to the biology of the earth suit not the deity of the Spirit of Christ. God is Spirit. Christ’s Spirit is the one and only Spirit of God or The Holy Spirit. It’s interesting to note that the Pharisees who crucified Christ, as well as the devil and demons, referred to Jesus as ‘Son of God’ but not as God. I call Jesus “God” because that’s who He is!

ONE GOD: Day 3 of 5

In yesterday’s post, I wrote about the Son “flesh” and the Father “Spirit” to remind us that God is Spirit and that God is not flesh. Two thousand plus years ago, God who is Spirit wore Son of God or Son of Man flesh so that He could be visibly seen and audibly heard in the physical realm.

Each time that Jesus referred to Himself as Son of Man while referring to God as Father, He was differentiating between the physical realm flesh and the Spirit. He was differentiating between the temporary Christ suit and His eternal Spirit being. “Son” equals flesh and “Father” equals Spirit. Again, there is only ONE Spirit of God, also known as the Holy Spirit. There is not a separate Spirit of God who made Himself known in flesh and then stayed in flesh to sit on the throne next to a God who was never in flesh. There is only one God who was temporarily in flesh as the Christ whose flesh would be crucified at the appointed time.

Let’s again look at some of the ONE GOD Scriptures to emphasize that there is truly only one God.

“I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me, so that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting people may know there is none besides me. I am the LORD, and there is no other.” (Isaiah 45:2-6 NIV)

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all through all and in all.” (Ephesians 4:4-6 NIV)

“Remember this, keep it in mind, take it to heart, you rebels. Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.” (Isaiah 46:8-9 NIV)

To recap, there is only ONE GOD. He is Spirit. He did not become a second Spirit of God when He robed Himself in temporary flesh and then eventually sit beside Himself on a throne in Heaven. The references to the Son sitting next to the Father are to remind us of when God intentionally took on flesh as an earthly king and a heavenly King. It was not to divide our allegiance between two separate Spirits of God.

Now let’s talk about the picture attached. Next month marks the 40th anniversary of the death of my youngest brother, Robby. The photo was taken just a few months before he died in a tragic car accident just before his 20th birthday. When I picture Robby in Heaven, this is how I picture him because that’s how he is remembered by me. I know analytically that he doesn’t look like that in Heaven because Robby’s flesh and blood body did not go to Heaven. His spirit being went to Heaven to be with God. I was at Robby’s funeral. I saw his temporary/earthly body in the casket. I saw the casket buried in the ground. And I know that all that is remaining of his human form is physical DNA that can be found in his decomposing skeletal bones. But Robby wasn’t ever just flesh and bones, he was a spirit being inside that temporary body.

So why is this important to the discussion of one God? Let’s see if I can make this understandable. We picture Jesus sitting on a throne in Heaven the way that He was present on earth (more than 2,000 years ago). The image we have of him doesn’t ever age or change. It is a fixed image in our mind of what He looked like when He was here in bodily form. But what we miss in that image is that Jesus is Spirit. He is the one and only Holy Spirit of God. He was only temporarily in bodily form for a period of time on our calendar. The essence of who He was then is His Spirit who is the Creator God. Jesus is not sitting next to God. He is God.

One God: Day 2 of 5

The Son of God or Son of Man labels represented the empty flesh and blood frame that the Spirit of God wore as He walked on earth in the physical realm. We understand that packaged person (flesh and Spirit) to be known as Jesus. Jesus was at that time both flesh and Spirit. The Spirit part of that union is the Spirit of God. The flesh part of that union was temporary and disposable just like our flesh is temporary. The Spirit is eternal. Jesus is that eternal Spirit. That Spirit is the one and only Spirit of God. God is a title. Jesus is His name.

There is not an empty, human born, flesh and blood frame sitting next to the Spirit of God in the spiritual realm (Heaven). Therefore there is not a “Son of God” or “Son of Man” sitting on a throne next to the one and only God in Heaven. So why are there Biblical references to a Son sitting next to the Father in Heaven?

Did you ever notice when reading about God, that He often answered questions with another question? He spoke in parables and seldom gave a simple “Yes” or “No” direct answer. Why is that? Perhaps it was because He wanted us to think more analytically and discern His answer deeper. So let’s do that here.

Why would God need a second God to sit next to Him in Heaven? If God is omniscient (all knowing), omnipresent (always present), and omnipotent (all powerful), why would we conclude that He needs help being God? If He is the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, how could a human-born flesh-and-blood frame be before and after Him? If God is the Creator, then why would He need a created, empty (without Spirit) human to sit on His throne in Heaven?

So again why the references of a human born Son sitting next to the Spirit of God in Heaven? Those two positions represent the spiritual realm and the physical realm. Heaven is the spiritual realm. When the Spirit of God temporarily wore a human-born flesh-and-blood frame, He was visible in the physical realm. The representation of that flesh body sitting next to the Spirit of God in Heaven gives us a memorial representation of Him in flesh. Rather than leave us without closure or grieving our loss of Him in the physical realm, we can visualize His fleshly existence sitting next to His Spirit in Heaven. We know that there are no flesh and blood beings in the spiritual realm of Heaven, but grief can cause us not to analyze the obvious. We know that our human bodies do not go to Heaven when we die. We bury them with the understanding that our spirit goes to Heaven to be with the Spirit of God. God is Spirit. God is not flesh.

So in the physical realm, King David was promised by God (in the spiritual realm) that he (David) would always have an heir on the throne. That again is figurative language or a parable to describe that a human born descendent of King David’s lineage would always be on the throne. Let’s look at a few Scripture verses to prove this out.

The promise:
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.” (See also Jeremiah 23:5-6 and Acts 2:39-40)

We know that the “child” is the child that was born from Mary’s womb. Mary was in the lineage of King David. (Study: Matthew 1:1, Matthew 22:42.) The child represents the human-born flesh-and-blood frame, NOT the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God is the Creator. The word that became flesh was the Creator’s Spirit Voice that made Himself audible and visible in the physical realm.

God could have made all this much easier to understand. Why didn’t He? Maybe He wants us to get to know Him in the spiritual realm more intimately. A Reminder: God is not a book and God is not flesh. God is Spirit!

“You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.” (John 5:39-40 NIV)

Let’s Talk About Mary

Who do you say that Mary was/is? Was she the mother of God? Should you pray to her spirit in heaven? What Scriptures could you twist to make it permissible to worship her?

This is where the discussion will turn to the trinity doctrine. (You knew it was coming.) The trinity doctrine espouses that there are three Gods, one of whom was born of the virgin Mary. That doctrine can then be expanded to make it permissible to pray to Mary since she gave birth (or came before) one of their three Gods. The devil surely loves that. So in that line of thinking, not only are there three Gods, instead of one, but there is also a fourth deity to pray to and worship in Mary.

So you may be wondering what is the Christian doctrine that leaves out the worship of Mary. The true doctrine is that there are NOT three Gods. There is only one God. God is Spirit. God is NOT flesh. Mary did not give birth to the Spirit of God. Mary gave birth to the flesh-and-blood frame that the Spirit of God wore as He made His invisible Spirit visible to mankind. God’s name was revealed to us as Jesus.

Our flesh-and-blood frame (born of human parents) houses our God-breathed spirit being. The flesh-and-blood frame is part of the human reproduction process. But the spirit being that each of us is assigned by God is not part of the human reproduction process. When our flesh dies, our spirit lives eternally with God or separated from God based on our covenant standing with God at the time of our death.

Do you see why understanding doctrine is so important? If you could be easily deceived into worshiping Mary and praying to her, then you walk outside of covenant with God and will suffer eternal wrath. The covenant relationship with God is to have NO OTHER GODS. The devil will use whatever schemes that he needs to for you to bow down to other than the one true God.

I’m begging you, whether you are a pastor or not, to please seek God about the trinity doctrine UNTIL you hear from Him and know with full certainty that you know true doctrine. You can’t believably call me a false prophet if I’m always coaching you to seek God for yourself. And by the way, the head of the church is Jesus, not councils of men. Jesus has the ultimate authority about church doctrines, not the Nicene council or any other council. It’s disgusting when you try to circumvent seeking God. If you don’t know how to hear God’s voice in prayer, I offer to teach you. (But we already know that you cannot humble yourself enough to be taught by a woman, especially one that challenges your false teaching.)

God sees and hears everything. He knows when your heart turns from Him. He knows when you defend false teaching and defame His prophets. He is watching. Do you really want Him to see such nastiness?

Is Jesus the God of the Covenant?

The myriad of wrong doctrinal statements that I hear from pulpits regularly is discouraging. The most offensive is “Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God”. If there are two Gods sitting on thrones in your religion, then you are not part of the Christian religion. Christianity is monotheistic, meaning one God. Jesus is the one and only God. God is Spirit. When the Spirit of God robed Himself in Son of Man flesh, He did not become a second God. Trinitarians believe that the Son is not the Father, therefore, they have two Gods sitting next to each other in their interpretation of Scriptures. It’s false theology!

So let’s revisit the letter that I sent to the local pastors in June of 2021 and the doctrinal “Mark of Excellence Newsletter” attached here. Because this is such a hot topic of debate, I have since created an edition of The Rogue Prophet Magazine, “Jesus, The Everlasting Father” to further refute the false ‘trinity’ teachings. But, as I always say, “Don’t believe me … Ask God yourself!” Certainly, if you truly have a relationship with God, then that’s something you would want to know for sure. I know for sure that there is only one God, not three!

What is your belief statement?

Yesterday, God had me write out a little sticky note reminder. He wanted me to create a belief statement that could replace the trinity (false doctrine) belief statements to model the possibilities for correct doctrinal statements for the local pastors. His hope was to make it easier for them to change their “What We Believe” statements to truth. It seems that most of them don’t really know exactly what they believe.

This morning, I went to Sunrise Bread Company, and sat down to handwrite the result of my discussion with God. While enjoying a hot cup of coffee and a huge cinnamon roll, I penned the words below.

***
We believe that there is only one God. God is invisible Spirit (also known as the Holy Spirit). He made Himself known visibly and audibly to mankind while He walked on Earth, robed in Son-of-Man flesh, 2000+ years ago. Today, He makes Himself known to us individually as we choose Him as our God. As His disciples, we should expect to hear His voice, experience His presence, and walk in His supernatural power when we are yielded to Him in covenant relationship. His name, made known to us, is Jesus. He is the one and only God. He will not compete for lordship.

The attributes of God are:
*God is Spirit. (John 4:24)
*God is invisible. (John 1:18)
*God is Creator. (Genesis 1; Psalm 139)
*God is sovereign. (Genesis 15:2)
*God is omnipresent: always present. (Psalm 139:7-10, Jeremiah 23:23-24)
*God is omnipotent: all powerful. (Psalm 33:6, Job 11:7-11)
*God is omniscient: all knowing. (Isaiah 46:9-10)
*God is eternal/Alpha & Omega. (Deuteronomy 33:27, Jeremiah 10:10, Revelation 22:13)
*God is infinite. (Colossians 1:17, Psalm 147:5)
AND
*God is love. (1 John 4:7-8)
*God is holy. (Revelation 4:8)
*God hates evil. (Zechariah 8:17)
*God is just/justice/righteous judge. (Deuteronomy 32:4)
*God is good. (Psalm 34:8, 34:22)
*God is merciful. (Romans 9:15-16)
*God is wisdom. (Romans 11:33, Proverbs 8, Job 9:4)
*God is gracious. (Psalm 145:8, Ephesians 2:8, Exodus 33:19, Matthew 5:45)
*God is sin-forgiver. (Micah 7:18)
*God is faithful. (Deuteronomy 7:9, 2 Timothy 2:13, 1 Corinthians 13:12)
*God is jealous. (Exodus 20:3)

*** End of example

A belief statement could also describe how to mend a broken covenant relationship. It could describe how God’s salvation method provided us each individual access to Him to ask for His forgiveness and to hear His response. There are lots of great things that the “What We Believe” sections could include. But know this, trinity false doctrine is NOT one of those things. All it does is show how little the church leadership actually knows God. If you want to advertise that, then go ahead. That’s your choice. But you could instead choose to use your website to equip people for covenant relationship and hearing God. Evangelize to a lost world or further confuse it?

Trinity Doctrine Arguments

They all say that they want revival to happen. But do you believe them?

Why would God deliver revival to a nation that ignores Him? Why would God use pastors who teach Trinitarian bogus theology to lead a Christian revival movement? Why would He anoint pastors who reject the anointing that God puts on women to unite His people?

All these pastors need to do is learn to hear God’s voice in prayer and hear His true doctrines directly from Him … and of course obey Him to teach those truths correctly. Listen, I have tried countless times to connect with a few of the pastors that God has named to help them learn to hear God’s voice in prayer. They don’t want to learn. They want their own seats of honor AND they do not want God to send a woman to teach them. So, that’s where I’m at!

I don’t know how to convince them that God is a “He” not a “They”. I hear them say it wrong all the time.

One God, God is Spirit, One Name, One Savior, One First & Last. It seems clear to me, but for whatever reason, those pastors cannot be convinced. If only they would hear God tell them … maybe then they would understand.

Church Assessments 1/30/25

Manipulative Praise & Insincere Worship

A Scripture was on my heart as I awoke this morning. “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” (Luke 16:10 NIV)

So I asked God why I had an image of a certain pastor in my mind as I was reminded of that Biblical text. God answered that the pastor was not trustworthy with teaching true doctrine but he wanted God to reward him for singing praises. My thoughts are that if he can’t be trusted to seek God for the correct interpretation of Scriptures, then why is God allowing him to stay in the pulpit? Actually, that’s my question to God about all the local pastors.

The Pastor Report Card that was posted yesterday had very specific doctrinal areas for grading. It was purposely blank so that each pastor or congregation member could seek God about how their church is doing on each doctrinal area.

1) Does the pastor teach that hearing God is the most important ingredient that leads to obeying God and following Him? Or does the pastor instead teach that the individual interpretation of the Bible (a book) has more authority than God? I’m definitely not saying that we should ignore studying the Bible, but it seems that most churches choose to ignore seeking God. God is Spirit. God is not a book. Most seem to understand that they don’t need to pray to the book, but they evidently believe that God can only speak through it. How did God become less powerful than His creation? He made us able to speak but He made Himself to be mute? (That was sarcasm.)

2) Again, too many pastors can’t be bothered to seek God about their three gods issue. There is only one God, not three. Listen, I boldly post pages proving this doctrinal stance for their inspection and comments. Where are they boldly posting their doctrinal stance for discussion? I’d love to have the opportunity to publicly debate their stance on the “trinity” of gods that they preach.

3) I will never understand how they get away with preaching that Jesus is not God, but instead a Son of God. Why God puts up with that is just unfathomable to me. He has more patience than I do, but that’s a given. He probably gets His abundance of patience from one of the two other gods that He’s purported to have as backups. (That was sarcasm).

I will continue discussing the report card doctrines tomorrow. For today, I will post a page of Scriptures that reflect the one-God theology just in case they would like to debate this topic with me. The attributes of God are listed on the second attachment.

The Old vs. New Covenant

Two important pages from “The Covenant Voice of God” edition of The Rogue Prophet Magazine. Same God/Savior, same covenant promise, but different sign of the covenant, people of the covenant, and atonement methods.
