The Spirit of the Lord Speaking Through You
Often, in my teaching videos, the Lord speaks directly through my voice. The Bible describes this as a manifestation of the Spirit or speaking in tongues. Some think that speaking in tongues can only be in a foreign language or in a heavenly language, but God can and does speak in your native language when He chooses.
I put together this page of Scriptures to help those who have never experienced this type of manifestation of the Spirit to understand it better.

Validated Trajectory?
We all fit together when we’re truly using our giftings for the glory of God.
In ministry, the size of the audience isn’t what’s important. It’s the obedience to God that matters most. It’s not how many auditorium seats or media viewers that count with God. Sometimes your God-given message is geared specifically to reach the heart of one person. That word of encouragement or rebuke might reach them in the middle of the battle when they were ready to give up or give in.
God orchestrates everything in exactly His timing. He alone knows the heart of the receiver and the trajectory of the giver. In order for us to walk in concert with God’s will, we must be willing to actually show up even when it seems fruitless to our egos and outside of a negotiable timeline.
We must hear God’s voice to direct us. It’s not beyond God’s sovereignty to still use us as He sees fit, even when we refuse to listen. But how much more useful can we be when we choose to actually seek God for direction? When we allow God to harness our energy and path as we yield to His leading, we can accomplish Kingdom work efficiently and in season.
There is no unity of the Spirit collectively when some fight against the will of God. If we’re not using our giftings to please God, then we’re using them contrary to His will. What is the true motive of your heart? Is pleasing God foremost?
The Prophet Jeremiah
This video talks about the life of the prophet AND also about the process of positioning yourself to hear God’s voice in prayer. It’s a little long but worth it.
The Prophets: Called & Appointed
Why did God call the prophets? Why did He disrupt their lives to bring a message from Him?
Mocked Prophets
“But they mocked God’s messengers, despised his words and scoffed at his prophets until the wrath of the Lord was aroused against his people and there was no remedy.” (2 Chronicles 36:16 NIV)
God called the prophets. They didn’t earn their ‘title’ of prophet through attending seminary or being born into a royal family. They had no tangible proof that they heard God call them as a prophet or that they were relaying a message from God. In other words, there was no certificate or specific eligibility requirement. God did the choosing and that was all there was to it.
The Call of the Prophets:
“I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites, and I will put my words in his mouth. He will tell them everything I command him. I myself will call to account anyone who does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name. But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.” (Deuteronomy 18:18-20 NIV)
“The LORD came and stood there, calling as at the other times, ‘Samuel! Samuel!’ Then Samuel said, ‘Speak, for your servant is listening.’” (1 Samuel 3:10 NIV)
“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.” (Ezekiel 3:17 NIV)
“The word of the LORD came to me, saying, ’Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.’” (Jeremiah 1:4-5 NIV)
“Since then, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face, who did all those signs and wonders the LORD sent him to do in Egypt—to Pharaoh and to all his officials and to his whole land. For no one has ever shown the mighty power or performed the awesome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.” (Deuteronomy 34:10-12 NIV)
Who Were the Prophets:
The prophets brought a divine message from God. Often, they delivered words of impending judgment on a nation who broke covenant with God. The prophets were hated and persecuted by the very people they were sent to warn and caution.
“Was there ever a prophet your ancestors did not persecute? They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. And now you have betrayed and murdered him” (Acts 7:52 NIV)
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. And you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our ancestors, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. Go ahead, then, and complete what your ancestors started!” (Matthew 23:29-32 NIV)
“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” (Matthew 5:11-12 NIV)
The Prophets: Against Worthless Idols
This video addresses the worthless idols and counterfeit gods that provoke God’s wrath against a people and a nation. It was (and is) a consistent message brought by the prophets.
The Prophets: Introduction
OK this is my FAVORITE subject … The Prophets.
My hope is that it will help younger prophets and future prophets know what to expect in their walk with the LORD. It is an introduction into a study of the Biblical prophets.
I would love for my family and friends to watch this just so that you have an idea of the journey that I’ve been on over the years.
National Day of Prayer, 5/7/26
Tomorrow, Thursday, May 7th is the National Day of Prayer.
I’m providing this playlist of “learning to discern God’s voice in prayer” mentoring videos for anyone who would rather have a two-sided conversation with God than just doing all the talking in prayer. You cannot obey God without hearing God’s voice.
It is 18 videos that cover expecting to hear God’s voice, who God is, the importance of being in unbroken/restored covenant, deliverance, three steps to position yourself in prayer, and questions to ask God for direction.
These videos were recorded this year with the hope of helping others to know God more intimately. Maybe this National Day of Prayer is exactly when God wants you to learn to hear His voice.
