A congregant can be very loyal to his/her pastor and church while being very disloyal to God. He/she can spend hours listening to their pastor speak while zero time is devoted to listening for the Lord’s voice. They can ask for their pastor’s counsel or advice but in prayer they obnoxiously demand that God do things their way.

Do they think that God doesn’t see where their loyalties are? Could God be so blind as to not see the motives of their heart? Could God choose to ignore them the way that they ignore God?

If you’re one who plays the country club religion game, what should you expect from God? Should He help you through the hard times or present them to you?

If you’re spending time celebrating your church, shouldn’t you be sure that you’re not complicit with false teaching? Should God ignore that you give them the glory meant for Him? Do you know your church better than you know God?

Recently, a woman jumped right away to defend her pastor (and his false doctrine) without first seeking God. She had more loyalty to her pastor than she did to God. Those aren’t my sentiments. Those are God’s words to me. So, what should God do when He sees that response? Does someone need to be dethroned in her life so that she gives God the rightful place of authority? And btw: those man-made certificates and degrees mean absolutely zero to God when false doctrine is being taught.

God sees what is in your heart about how you treat His prophets too. He’s not as blind as you think. Nor is He as mute as you would prefer. (But maybe you just didn’t give Him permission to send prophets with a word!) A word to the wise. Don’t keep pressing against God’s will. He’s not a book that you can lord yourself over. As always, don’t believe me. Ask God yourself!
