The pope is banking on you being too stupid about the history of religion to actually study your Bible. God sent King Saul to wipe out the Amalekites. God sent Gideon with a small army to destroy the Midianites. God sent Joshua to conquer Jericho. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. And let’s not forget about God wiping nearly all mankind off the face of the earth in Noah’s days.

God sent plagues against the people who dishonored Him. Jesus turned over the tables in the temple courts in anger against the religious heresies. God often sent His people into battle to conquer evil. There was even a shepherd boy who went against the Philistine giant.

There is always going to be evil to oppose on this side of Heaven’s gates. We’re not supposed to embrace it. We’re supposed to fight it using the weapons of warfare, spiritual armor, and the command of God.
