Spiritual Armor for What?

Do you need spiritual armor to sit in a pew with your head up your pastor’s butt?

Hey I know that was a loaded question that paints a picture! But can you believe that is what God wanted to talk with me about first thing this morning? I know what it’s all about, though.

Too many country club Christians, have their “relationship” with God through their pastors. They don’t hear God for themselves and it’s much easier to do religion through a once-a-week playdate than through actually walking with the Spirit. But I’ve got news for those country club Christians, your pastor doesn’t put much more effort into relationship with God than you do and the evidence is all over their false theologies.

So, what should God do when you refuse a word from Him through His prophets? He told me this morning that He is going to prove His wrath against the pastor and his butt-headed congregant from a recent encounter. There was some discussion where I asked God if the punishment would fit the crime. All the congregant did was allude to me as being sent from the devil instead of from God. Certainly, that didn’t warrant Him coming against her family line. But God wasn’t having it. She called God a liar, and He would need to prove where the message came from. I’ve seen God prove Himself this way before, so I’m hoping that the butt-headed congregant quickly gets her head on straight and humbles herself before the Lord AND ASKS FOR HIS FORGIVENESS before it’s too late.

While I do want God to confirm the message that He delivered through me, I don’t like seeing family lines punished for one butt-headed congregant’s stupidity. I don’t get to tell God what to do though. So, my advice stands. Get your head out of your pastor’s butt and repent.
